Kanye West to debut designer scarf line

Kanye West reportedly plans to release his own line of silk scarves.According to HipHop Wired, the rapper-record producer is collaborating with Paris designers M/M to produce the neckwear range inspired by his latest album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.M/M also designed the album’s linear notes.The scarves will incorporate images from the LP’s controversial cover art, created by artist George Condo.A limited edition of 250 scarves is expected to debut this spring at Parisian fashion and style boutique Colette.West sparked rumours that he was applying for a fashion degree during a trip to the UK to visit Central Saint Martins College last month.Watch Kanye West’s video for ‘All of the Lights’ below:

Life + Times, an extensive lifestyle website helmed by Jay-Z, has premiered today . The site features pieces on indie bands, an interview with chef Daniel Boulud, and a video on a young soccer player, among other things.  

 

Mumford & Sons Announce June Tour Dates
After hitting Coachella and embarking on their Railroad Revival tour later this month, Mumford & Sons will hit the road for a proper tour this June. Beginning June 3 in Kansas City, the folk rockers’ trek will also make a stop in Manchester, Tenn. for Bonnaroo on June 11.

David Gilmour to reunite with Roger Waters

David Gilmour will reportedly reunite with his ex-Pink Floyd bandmate Roger Waters for a one-off performance.Waters begins his UK leg of ‘The Wall Live’ tour – a show based on Pink Floyd’s 1980/81 tour of the band’s The Wall album – on May 11.Speaking to Sky News about the possibility of Gilmour joining him on stage, Waters said: “I think it’s beginning to look now as if he’ll (Gilmour) do one gig. He’ll do ‘Comfortably Numb’ at one gig. It’s a big secret when.”The performance will be the first live reunion of the pair since 2005′s Live 8 concert.Waters added that the show will see a 35ft-tall and 240ft-wide wall being dismantled throughout. Japan charity LP tracklisting confirmed

The final tracklisting for the charity album to benefit those affected by the Japanese earthquake and tsunami has been revealed. All proceeds raised from Songs For Japan, which will be released digitally by Universal Music Group, will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross to aid relief efforts in the country.
