The Super Bowl, And More

    Well, here we are holidays are behind us. Now in February of a leap year. My two friends from University with birthdays on the 29th are now 8. I have to make sure I greet them at the end of the month.

    February is a busy month for everything but if you’re a sports fan you probably know that the Super Bowl is this weekend. The annual culmination of the National Football League season to determine the champion for American, professional football. There are often comparisons drawn between all types of football, rugby, soccer, etc. Truth be told, I think they’re all good. Army of Darkness Special Promotion

How long has it been since you checked in with the Deadite community? Do you remember the worlds breached due to the Necronomicon? Klaata Barada (cough/indecipherable)? If it’s been a while, Discount Comic Book Service and Dynamite Entertainment want to hit you with a boomstick’s worth of entertainment value.

The Evil Dead broke boundries upon its release in 1981. By virtue of an innovative fund-raising scheme (most of the film’s budget was procured through local dentists), filmmaker Sam Raimi set out with longtime friends Rob Tapert (Producer) and Bruce Campbell (Lead Actor) to make a blood-soaked horror movie.

Ashley Greene the newest face of DKNY and DKNY Jeans

DKNY and DKNY Jeans have just announced that they have signed Twilight star Ashley Greene as the newest face for their Spring/Summer 2012 ad campaign, currently being photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

Ive always loved Donna Karans creations. To be a part of the brands’ message is incredibly exciting because it feels like such an organic fit. It’s easy to talk about how these clothes work for my lifestyle, whether Im in New York, L.A. or traveling for work, Greene says in a press release announcing the news.
