TRAVIS SHINN All five original members of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony will appear in concert together Saturday at Cleveland Browns Stadium. From left are Layzie Bone, Wish Bone, Flesh-N- Bone, Krayzie Bone and Bizzy Bone.

In April, Krayzie Bone said he was done, finished, kaput with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Nothing like a little birthday celebration to change things.

The five members of Bone Krayzie, Bizzy, Layzie, Wish and Flesh-N are teaming up to headline a Saturday concert that’s part of a four-day celebration of Cleveland’s 215th birthday.

The show is at the Port of Cleveland on West Third, near Cleveland Browns Stadium, from 4 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Tickets — $45 for general admission and $75 for VIP are available today at a kiosk in Tower City, and at the gate on Saturday.

“They ain’t seen us, all five, since Flesh came out [of prison in 2008],” Bizzy Bone told MTV News. “We ain’t been able to really put on a showcase for ‘em, and this is a beautiful platform. It’s gonna be thousands and thousands and thousands of people there, and it’s Cleveland’s birthday.”

The Cleveland-born group got its start in 1994 and reached stardom with a multi-platinum single called “Tha Crossroads” in 1995.

The band has been through several ups and downs in its storied existence, including Flesh’s stay in prison after pleading guilty to assault using an AK-47 rifle. Originally sentenced to 12 years, Flesh was freed in 2008 after almost nine years behind bars.

Brandon Kennedy, a spokesman for Ohio Homecoming, the organization behind the concert, said it took something as important as Cleveland’s birthday to bring the band back together. However, Wish, in the MTV News interview, refused to say whether the reunion was just for this event, or was permanent at least by Bone standards.

“It’s a shame that sometimes we go through things like anybody else, but by us being in the public eye, it gets magnified about a million times,” he said in the interview. “No matter what, we’re going to come together for something that’s very important to us.”

The concert is not the finale for the celebration. A tailgate party that begins at 1 p.m. Sunday outside Cleveland State University’s Krenzler Field, on East 18th between Payne and Chester avenues, will segue to a flag football game at 4 p.m. featuring celebrity coaches Lee Evans of the Buffalo Bills and Joe Haden of the Cleveland Browns, as well as a challenge course, Kennedy said.

One of the highlights will be a halftime “Battle of the Bands” between the marching bands of Cleveland’s Shaw High School and Columbus East High. At stake is a $5,000 first prize.

Admission to the game and halftime show is $20. Tickets are available today at the Tower City kiosk, and on Sunday at the gate.
