The Red Hot Chili Peppers have released the tracklisting to their upcoming tenth album, I’m With You—the 14-track album is set for release on August 30th.  And, while the tracklisting seems typically inscrutable, I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess that the record is going to pertain to sex, drugs and/or recovery from drugs, and the dark side of Los Angeles living.  Oh, and sex.  And more drugs.

According to Billboard, the tracklisting looks like this:

Monarchy of Roses Factory of Faith Brendans Death Song Ethiopia Annie Wants a Baby Look Around The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie Did I Let You Know Goodbye Hooray Happiness Loves Company Police Station Even You Brutus? Meet Me at the Corner Dance, Dance, Dance

I’m With You is the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ first album in five years, was produced by Rick Rubin, and is their first without former guitarist John Frusciante since the 1990s.  It will also be their first album since the last one and the one before that and the one before that and the one before that to feature lyrics pertaining only to sex, drugs, and California.

What do you think of the Red Hot Chili Peppers news?
